EMERJA is a Colombian-based certification body, founded in 2017. Our team brings together over fifteen years of experience auditing the world’s leading agricultural certification programs.
We operate in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17065 standard, which sets out the requirements for bodies that certify products, processes, and services.
Our approach to evaluation prioritizes quality, impartiality, and service. We strive to conduct audits that allow the client’s operations to continue uninterrupted, while verifying compliance with each standard and responding promptly to the client’s needs.
We audit operations of all sizes—from family farms to large corporate groups—across the certification schemes required by their respective markets. We plan our visits to ensure that your operations remain ongoing.
We do not provide consulting or advisory services to the operators we audit. Doing so would compromise the impartiality of our decisions—and, consequently, the validity of the certificate you require.
Our revenue is derived exclusively from the certification services we provide.
